Anonymous asked: i've got a tricky question for you. do you think man creates art for art sake or money sake?
Damn, that’s a pretty good question.
Man creates art for the sake of meaning behind all the colors or images to grasp a bigger picture for others. It goes either way when it comes to art; going for meaning or money, but money plays a big factor in order to create more. In my opinion, man creates art for art sake but the role of money takes place on the side. Artist really pay more attention on showing and telling with art (i.e drawing, photography, dancing).
Different arts focus on main points on what they want to do. Some may tell those that go in for the money as sell outs, but lose touch in the meaning of art when they’re blinded by greed. In my mind art is always move towards the sake of telling through images or movements for others to see.
I might look back to this question since it really is tricky for me to think about.
